Ellen L. Needham
Chairman of the Board
Ellen L. Needham has been involved with Learning Leaders for nearly two decades. She has volunteered as an elementary school tutor and has served as a trustee for many years. On the Board, Mrs. Needham has sat on the Development, Program, Nominating and Executive committees. She is also a trustee of the Beginning with Children Foundation and has previously served on the Board of Collegiate School and on the Board of Visitors of The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Needham retired from Saks Fifth Avenue, where she was a Vice President. She currently works as a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is active in educational and arts programs throughout New York and the country. A graduate of Tulane University, she is married to George Needham. Together, they have three children: Michael, Sarah and Paul.
