Biking New York with Learning Leaders

Join Team Learning Leaders as we participate in the 2012 TD Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday May 6th.

The Tour is produced by Bike New York in association with the City of New York and the New York City Department of Transportation. It is the largest cycling event in America. Read more about it here.

Here are ways to support Learning Leaders:  RIDE, SPONSOR,  OR VOLUNTEER, and then CELEBRATE!

RIDE:
Successful applicants will be notified, by Bike New York, via email on or before March 1st. Riders will then need to fully register with Bike New York and pay a $75.00 registration fee for adults and $55.00 for youth (under 14 years of age) to Bike New York within 7 days of your notification. Let us know you have successfully joined Team Learning Leaders by registering here.

SPONSOR*:
There will be many folks riding in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour to support Learning Leaders. Your sponsorship of the riders will help provide support for Learning Leaders programs engaging families and communities in education in over 450 schools in all five boroughs.

VOLUNTEER:
Learning Leaders is looking to our outstanding volunteers to help out at one of the many rest stations along the route. Learning Leaders will have tables set up in every borough. Volunteers are needed to distribute water, fruit, healthy snacks and cheer on the riders. Anyone who volunteers on May 6th 2012 will be guaranteed a spot in the 2013 TD Five Boro Bike Tour. CELEBRATE:
Learning Leaders will host riders, sponsors and volunteers at the final stop on the Tour in Staten Island. Refreshments will be served.
