An in-depth, independent study completed by the Arete Corporation in January 2003 concluded that the Learning Leaders approach works and works well. Findings also suggest that it is not simply volunteering itself but, more specifically, volunteering as a Learning Leader that provides the greatest benefits to public schools, parents and their children.
